The first annual eSports Industry Awards in London on Monday night recognized individuals and organizations who have contributed to developing esports. The winner's circle included top players like Marcelo “coldzera” David and Seth “Scump” Abner, content creators like Richard Lewis and Robert Paul, and companies like Team EnVyUs, Valve and Twitch.

On the player side, coldzera received the award for PC Player of the Year, while Scump was named Console Player of the Year. Other players named were Team Liquid's Amer “Miracle-” al-Barqawi, for Rookie of the Year; SK's Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, for Esports Personality of the Year; and CoD pro Callum “Swanny” Swan, for UK Esports Player of the Year.

Other professionals recognized included Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat, for Esports Broadcaster of the Year, and Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana, for Streamer of the Year.
