FlipSid3 Tactics have replaced Aleksandr "Shara" Gordeev with Denis "electronic" Sharipov, who has joined the team on a trial basis.

The young Russian player has made a name for himself in the CIS scene after taking second place in two CIS Minor Championships, first with Rebels in January 2016 and then with Team Empire in May. He has been playing with NokSuKao since the team was formed in June.

Flipsid3 made an impressive run at ESL One Cologne 2016 with a 5th-8th place finish, but have been struggling to reach such heights since, and they failed to qualify for ESL One New York. Most recently, they didn't get a single point in the group stage of DreamHack Bucharest, failing to reach the semifinals.

The new Flipsid3 Tactics roster is as follows:

  • Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodensky
  • Georgy "WorldEdit" Yaskin
  • Yegor "markeloff" Markelov
  • Denis "electronic" Sharipov
  • Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen
