The CIS Minor Championship, which will determine which CIS teams will attend the closed qualifier for the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta, will take place on Nov. 11-13 in the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex in Russia. It will be organized by StarLadder, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
The event will hold two stages of qualifiers, beginning with an open qualifier on Oct. 26-28. Eight teams will move on to a main qualifier on Oct. 29 to Nov. 1, along with eight invited teams, where they will play for eight spots in the Minor.
Earlier today, StarLadder posted five of the invites for the main qualifier:

The 16 teams at the main qualifier will be divided into four groups, which will use a best-of-one GSL-style format, though the decider matches will be best-of-three. The Top 2 teams from each group will move on to the CIS Minor.
The CIS Minor will feature a $50,000 prize pool and two slots into the ELEAGUE Major closed qualifier. Further details on the CIS Minor format are expected in the future.
The ELEAGUE Major qualifier will take place on Dec. 15-18 in the Turner Studios in Atlanta. The ELEAGUE Major itself features a $1 million prize pool and will take place on Jan. 22-29 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
