Shahzeb "ShahZam" Khan and Ronny "ryx" Bylicki have chosen not to re-sign with Echo Fox for 2017, while Ryan "Freakazoid" Abadir will stay with the team, the players announced on Twitter Wednesday.

Additionally, team captain Sean Gares stated on Twitter that he would be taking a few days to reflect before making a decision.

This news comes after Echo Fox announced that all their CS:GO players have been given the option to pursue opportunities with other teams. ShahZam joined Echo Fox in May, after playing for the team as a stand-in for a handful of games.

Prior to joining Echo Fox, ShahZam played for OpTic Gaming, and has played for Conquest, Tempo Storm and Cloud9 in the past. While with Echo Fox, he helped the team place in the top two of the Americas Minor Championship 2017, fourth at Northern Arena 2016 Toronto and eighth in the North American division of ESL Pro League Season 4,

ryx was one of the members of the original Echo Fox lineup, signed in January. Before joining Echo Fox, ryx was a backup player for compLexity, and played for Conquest.

Daniel "roca" Gustaferri has made a statement saying, "hoping to figure my plans out soon." But it's unclear if he's leaving the team or staying on.
