With over 1 million viewers, the ELEAGUE Major Grand Finals have broken Twitch's record for the highest amount of concurrent views on a single stream.

According to Twitch's Senior Esports Manager Cristian Tamas, the Grand Finals broke the previous record of 890,000 viewers in Game 2 of the three game series. That number continued to grow until Astralis hoisted the trophy, peaking at over 1,026,000. This means that the ELEAGUE Major stream is not only the highest concurrently viewed stream in Twitch history, it's also the first to break 1 million concurrent viewers.

According to Tamas, the previous record was held by another CS:GO event, ESL One Cologne 2015.
