Astralis have won the IEM Season XI World Championship after defeating FaZe Clan 3-1 in the Grand Finals on Sunday in Katowice, Poland.

The opening map of the Grand Finals was a FaZe specialty, Cache, and they dominated it with a 16-12 scoreline. Astralis fired back and took three straight maps: Overpass 16-12, Nuke 16-12 and Inferno 16-13 to win the series.

Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth lived up to his tournament MVP award with a 1.12 HLTV rating averaged across the four maps.

Teammate Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen wowed the crowd with a Desert Eagle ace on Overpass and a stunning 1v3 on Nuke.
