mousesports have signed rifler Martin "STYKO" Styk to their roster Tuesday. The Slovakian player most recently played for HellRaisers.
"Martin is a very smart player," mouz coach Sergey Bezhanov said in a statement. I have been working with him before and know what he is capable of. He can adapt to almost any role in a team. STYKO will be able to support chrisJ with calling our strategies and be very helpful in clutch situations."
STYKO will replace Denis "denis" Howell on the roster. He served as mouz's entry-fragger for over two years.
"There are a lot of stories to tell about the last two years," denis said in a statement. "To cut it short, I want to thank all the staff members and especially every single one of my former teammates. It was a good time and I am thankful for it. A very special thank you goes out to all of the fans that supported our team and me personally. You will see me back in action soon."
This is the second roster move made by mouz this week, as the team acquired Miikka "suNny" Kemppi's contract from PENTA Sports on Aug. 4. mouz also released rifler Christian "loWel" Antoran on Aug. 2 ahead of that transaction.
These roster moves follow the mouz's disappointing results at PGL Major Kraków 2017, where they finished in the bottom eight.
mousesports' current roster is now as follows:
- Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
- Martin "STYKO" Styk
- Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný
- Robin "ropz" Kool
- Miikka "suNny" Kemppi
- Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov (coach)
