CS:GO Skin MarketWatch is a weekly look at the best deals and trends when it comes to skins. Every week we'll help you get maximum value out of your loadout, highlight pro player inventories or clue you in on some must-buy skins.

Eco Round: Top 5 'Industrial Grade' skins

Generally speaking, the big appeal of skins in CS:GO come from their grade and rarity. But let's be honest, half the battle is seeing how good they look. If your primary concern is to simply look good — and you are agnostic to grade and rarity — it's possible to pimp your loadout for cheap, which is the goal of the Eco Round.

Industrial Grade skins are the second lowest tier of weapons in CS:GO in terms of quality (just a step above Consumer Grade) in terms of both rarity and quality. But there are some diamonds in the rough, so here are five of the best that don't break the bank.

(Prices taken from CSGO Analyst's 30-day average on Sept. 6)

M4A4 | Urban DDPAT

  • Factory New "30-day" average price: $3.95

The Urban DDPAT is one of the best series of neutral skins in the game, which are useful for their basic color palettes and patterns, making them good pairings for any of your favorite stickers.

Five-SeveN | Candy Apple

  • Factory New "30-day" average price: $10.05

A much more reasonably priced version of the Glock-18 version of the Candy Apple, while also being much more useful in-game. Win-win.

Tec-9 | Hades

  • Factory New "30-day" average price: $0.75

The Tec-9 | Hades is low-key one of the most unique skins in the game, featuring a pattern that actually changes the higher its wear grade is.

AWP | Sun in Leo

  • Factory New "30-day" average price: $4.63

Probably one of the cheapest AWP skins in the game that doesn't really look half bad. The same cannot be said about the only other AWP skin in this skin grade, the AWP | Safari Mesh.

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm

  • Factory New "30-day" average price: $2.75

The Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm is a dark palette skin with very subtle details of an ocean painting, somewhat reminiscent of the famous Japanese painting, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

The skin is also a color swap of the Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm skins, which can cost as much as ten times more than the Midnight Storm.

Inventory Highlight: shox

(Prices taken from CSGO Analyst's 30-day average on Sept. 6)

DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 was the first tournament after the craziness of the roster shuffle season and it's fitting that the victor of the event was the one team that didn't have a roster change, G2 Esports.

Though there was no formal MVP named for the tournament, the team was led by none other than shoxie himself, so we're highlighting his inventory.

  • Gloves: Field-Tested Hand Wraps | Slaughter - $264.28
  • Knife: Minimal Wear M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web - $220.66
  • USP-S: Minimal Wear Kill Confirmed - $40.85
  • Glock-18: Minimal Wear Fade - $291.83*
  • CZ75-Auto: Field-Tested Yellow Jacket - $2.39
  • Desert Eagle: StatTrak Factory New Conspiracy - $17.59
  • UMP-45: Factory New Blaze - $14.53
  • M4A1-S: StatTrak Field-Tested Golden Coil - $42.25
  • AK-47: StatTrak Minimal Wear Fuel Injector - $172.28
  • AWP: Minimal Wear Elite Build - $7.20
  • TOTAL COST: $1073.86

Nothing is particularly outstanding in his kit, though it's worth noting his heavy shift to the CZ75-Auto, often buying it over a Tec-9, Five-SeveN and UMP-45 when those guns were valid options. This is likely due to the recent balance changes to the game.

Though shox has made the shift in his gameplay to prioritizing the CZ, he seems to lack a noteworthy skin for the gun, fielding a rather humble Yellow Jacket that you can purchase for a cup of coffee.
