While SK Gaming took home the EPICENTER 2017 trophy, the real story of tournament was Virtus.pro's renaissance, as the Polish Plow made it all the way to the Grand Final and put on quite the show against SK, pushing them to double overtime.

Inferno was the most popular map at the event, as it was played 10 times. However, it showed a strong T-side slant to the tune of a 53 per cent win rate. By contrast the third most played map Train went highly in favor of CTs with the counter-terrorists seeing a win rate of 57.4 per cent.
SK Gaming dominated the KD rankings at the event, with the top two slots going to Marcelo "coldzera" David and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo at 1.54 and 1.37 respectively. coldzera in particular had a great tournament with a +102 kill/death differential, 87.7 damage per round and 0.90 kills per round.
