OpTic Gaming have signed a new CS:GO team after parting ways with their previous, all-European roster, the organization announced Wednesday.

OpTic has signed Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan, Nicklas "gade" Gade and René "cajunb" Borg, dropping Adam "Friberg" Friberg, Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Kevin "HS" Tarn. The organization announced Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas' departure on Tuesday, and lost Emil "Magisk" Reif to Astralis earlier today.

OpTic's previous roster was considered to be solid on paper, but failed to make a mark competitively, placing 5th-6th in both the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals and the ECS Season 4 Finals.

Stanislaw was listed as inactive on Team Liquid's roster, cajunb and k0nfig were benched by North earlier this year, gade was playing for North's academy roster and ShahZaM's contract with Misfits expired in January.

OpTic has retained their CS:GO coach, Chet "ImAPet" Singh.
