FACEIT and T1 partner for Apex Legends tournament

Esports tournament organizer FACEIT announced the Apex Legends Invitational on Tuesday, a tournament collaboration between FACEIT and T1 Entertainment.

At this time further details are scarce, with FACEIT sharing more details closer to the tournament date.

Kicking off March 30th on Twitch, the invitational will consist of 20 streamer-led squads competing for a $25,000 prize pool.

OpTic Gaming reportedly in talks with MSL and niko

OpTic Gaming is in talks to sign Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen amidst a rumored roster shakeup, according to a report from Dexerto writer Jarek "DeKay" Lewis.

Yesterday, Danish website reported that Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Jakob "JUGi" Hansen are leaving OpTic for Cloud9, creating the potential for for niko and MSL to step in.

Both MSL and niko have been playing for Rogue, helping the squad place first at the StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 7 - North American Qualifier.
