Legendary CS player pronax retires

Markus "pronax" Wallsten has retired.

The legendary Counter-Strike player announced the news on Twitter Thursday.

pronax had one of the most storied careers in CS history. He was widely known for furthering the competitive scene in both 1.6 and early Global Offensive.

pronax was an instrumental part of Fnatic becoming the first team in Counter-Strike history to win three Majors.

FaZe Clan sign NICKMERCS

Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff is the newest member of FaZe Clan.

The organization took to Twitter on Thursday to announce their big signing on the nine-year anniversary of FaZe.

Of course this move comes in the wake of FaZe's controversial divorce with their most popular Fortnite streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney as well as NICKMERCS' departure from 100 Thieves.

FaZe released a YouTube video celebrating the move to pair with the announcement.

Cloud9 and Microsoft join forces

Cloud9 have partnered with tech giant Microsoft.

The organization announced on Friday that moving forward Microsoft would be their official Technology and Performance Analytics partner.

The relationship will work to assist C9 with their ability to collect and analyze game data across multiple esports.
