Team eBettle will be playing under the name Vexed Gaming due to their organization wanting to distance their eSports and betting operations.
After being signed by eBettle, the Polish team made waves by qualifying for the most recent CS:GO Major, ESL One: Cologne 2015. They would finish in 9-16th place, falling out of the group stage with losses to Fnatic and Counter Logic Gaming.
"This was a difficult decision, but we decided to separate our esports organisation from eBettle Ltd, in order to become more independent and reach new goals," said Frederik Vig, Vexed Gaming's owner.
"Most of the people behind the team will remain, but we have made a few additions to strengthen our abilities of supporting our CS:GO team and expand into new markets."
The team, under their new name, will make their next appearance at DreamHack Stockholm 2015, where they will attempt to qualify for back-to-back Majors. They face two European powerhouses in HellRaisers and Titan in Group B, and will have a hard time repeating the feat that put them through to Cologne as Vexed defeated both of those teams in the previous Major's offline qualifier.
Vexed Gaming's CS:GO roster is the following:
- Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny
- Piotr "peet" Ćwikliński
- Damian "Furlan" Kislowski
- Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski
- Karol "rallen" Rodowicz
