Kjaerbye is not eligible to play with Astralis at the upcoming Major because he previously qualified through DreamHack Tours with Team Dignitas. Astralis had been seeking a sub ever since they traded Rene "cajunb" Borg for Kjaerbye earlier this month.
gla1ve has been with the Copenhagen Wolves since January, when his previous team unu.AiN was acquired by the organization. During his time with the Wolves, they made it through the DreamHack Tours Open Qualifier, but did not win either of their Round of 16 matches in Closed Qualifiers 1 or 2.
Astralis say they have a plan to prepare for Cologne. "We have decided to take a bootcamp before the Major starts to integrate him in our team and play style," the team said in their release. As for their goals, the team aims to "secure the Top 8 position and Legends status for the next Major; everything beyond that is just icing on the cake."
