Rafael "zakk" Fernandes has joined Tempo Storm as a coach, the team announced Saturday night.
zakk took to a stream alongside other members of Tempo Storm Saturday night to answer questions and provide more insight into his role on the team.
Notably, zakk said he would not be the team's in-game leader, leaving those duties to Ricardo "boltz" Prass.
"I'm not gonna be the in-game leader. peacemaker was the guy who was making the calls inside the game, but the guys don't want that," zakk said on stream.
"So I'm gonna be doing other things. I'm gonna be helping them with statistics, communication, calming down inside the game. Things like that."
zakk has been a professional CS player since 1.6, having played for a variety of Brazilian teams since 2008. He last played for Seven Wars e-Sports from February to March this year.
Tempo Storm has been notably absent from ELEAGUE, the televised CS:GO competition where fellow Brazilian squad Luminosity has already won the first group. They will, however, participate in the ESL One: Cologne Major qualifiers, which begin on June 9 in Katowice, Poland.
