Echo Fox has signed Ryan "fREAKAZOID" Abadir to their CS:GO squad.
fREAKAZOID departed from Cloud9's starting roster in April, but was still signed as a backup to the team. At the time, Cloud9 was fielding offers from other teams for fREAKAZOID.
fREAKZOID played mostly as an aggressive entry fragger on Cloud9, and is also well known for his stream. Since his departure, fREAKAZOID stood-in for Spylce's Abraham "abE" Fazli at DreamHack Austin, where Splyce failed to advance out of the Group Stage.
"We are thrilled to have Ryan join the Echo Fox family," Rick Fox said in a statement. "He is an ultra-competitive athlete and fits right into the team we are building for our ELEAGUE entry."
Echo Fox is slated to play in Group E of ELEAGUE, where they will face off against Natus Vincere, mousesports and FlipSid3 Tactics.
Echo Fox's CS:GO roster is now as follows:
- Sean "sgares" Gares
- Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki
- Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
- Shazeb "ShahZaM" Khan
- Ryan "fREAKAZOID" Abadir
