Daryl "iceiceice" Koh Pei Xiang has left EHOME, according to Valve's team registration website.

Prior to leaving EHOME, iceiceice sent out a series of tweets looking for a mid player in the SEA region. On Sunday, the day before he left EHOME, iceiceice said that he had found his new mid.

iceiceice originally joined EHOME in March, departing Vici Gaming alongside his teammate Lu "Fenrir" Chao in the wake of a string of disappointing results following The Frankfurt Major, where VG placed in the Top 6. As a member of VG, iceiceice placed fourth at TI5 and second at the Dota 2 Asia Championships.

Despite the team change, iceiceice did not experience instant success after joining EHOME. Instead, EHOME struggled to qualify for any international LAN prior to TI6, and were forced to enter the Wild Card Stage of TI6 after they lost to Vici Gaming Reborn in the final match of the China Qualifiers.

But EHOME exceeded expectations in Seattle, making their way out of the Wild Card with two victories over Execration and Escape Gaming. They would subsequently finish first in Group B, losing only two games in the Group Stage and never dropping a series. Though EHOME would only defeat Alliance in the Main Event, losing to Evil Geniuses and Digital Chaos in two 2-0 series, the team secured their second Top 6 finish at their second TI since their reformation in 2015.

EHOME's roster is now as follows:

  • Wang "old chicken" Zhiyong
  • Ren "eLeVeN" Yangwei
  • Zhang "LaNm" Zhicheng
  • Lu "Fenrir" Chao
