The International 2016 champions Wings Gaming have released their entire roster, according to Valve's majors registration website.
All five of Wings' players joined in August 2015, and over the course of the 2015-16 season managed to rise from a relatively minor Chinese team to having dominant performances in the months leading up to TI6. After placing 13th-16th at The Manila Major, Wings won the TI6 Chinese Qualifiers, placed first at The Summit 5, second at the Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2 and first at TI6.

Wings are the latest Chinese team to drop their roster, following Tuesday's dust-up that saw Vici Gaming, Vici Gaming Reborn, LGD-Gaming, EHOME, CDEC Gaming, CDEC Youth, CDEC Avenger, Newbee Young, Invictus Gaming and Invictus Gaming Vitality release most of their players. On Aug. 29, Newbee also dropped their entire roster.
It is still possible for players to rejoin their teams due to the two stage system Valve has implemented for roster locks. Players can leave or be dropped by teams up to Sept. 4, at which point players can join any team until Sept. 18.
