Team NP have revealed their full roster, a lineup stacked with big names from the North American Dota 2 scene.

Here's a look at the team:

  • Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling
  • Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao
  • Arif "MSS" Anwar
  • Avery "SVG" Silverman
  • Theeban "1437" Siva

EternalEnvy discussed the formation of his new organization on SirActionSlacks and HotBid’s podcast HotPants!, saying that he wanted to create his own brand and play with the people he wanted to play with, not necessarily established talent.

EternalEnvy, 1437 and Aui_2000 were all most recently a part of Team Secret, though the former played carry on the squad for the past year while the latter two were with Team Secret as coaches.

1437 and Aui_2000 spent some time together on Digital Chaos, Aui’s new organization formed after being kicked from Evil Geniuses after their TI5 win. 1437 was a later addition to that roster, while Aui moved back to EG early in 2016. He didn’t last long with his former organization, leaving in June when zai returned from school and Universe returned from a brief stint with Team Secret.

MSS most recently played for Shazam, a North American squad with some promising performances in smaller tournaments (winning both ProDotA Cup Americas #5 and BTS Americas #4), but no international presence. He had previously played for a short-lived Cloud9 roster formed a few days after EternalEnvy’s Cloud9 roster disbanded, preceded by a few other NA teams.

SVG is the newest member of the professional Dota 2 scene. He has been MSS’ teammate since the formation of a squad known as Dark Horse in the post TI5 shuffle. That roster was then signed by Cloud9 but were dropped by the organization in November. Four of those five players continued on together as Shazam, but SVG parted ways with MSS when he became Evil Geniuses’ coach for The International 6.
