TIME has named Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan one the 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016 in their annual list.

TIME highlights the fact that SumaiL is the "the youngest person ever to earn $1 million playing competitive video games," a record he secured following Evil Geniuses' victory at The International 2015.

While he did not win TI6 this year, SumaiL has since increased his total winnings to over $2.3 million with wins at The Summit 4, MarsTV Dota 2 League 2016 Autumn, and third place finishes at the Frankfurt and Shanghai Majors.
