Fnatic have dropped out of Dota Pit Season 5 and will be replaced by Team Faceless in the SEA Qualifier.

While no specific reason was given regarding Fnatic's departure from the SEA qualifier, an earlier Tweet from Dota Pit said that Fnatic were dropping out due to roster changes. That tweet has since been deleted.

When asked about why the tweet was deleted and replaced, Dota Pit COO Dino Lujetić told theScore esports that the original tweet was sent out due a "misunderstanding," and that Fnatic "are replaced with Team Faceless because they are not ready to play qualifiers after their performance in Boston Major CQ."

Fnatic placed fourth at the SEA Qualifier for the Boston Major in late October, failing to qualify for Valve's latest tournament. They were originally set to face off against Mineski in the Dota Pit Season 5 SEA Qualifier on Nov. 3.

Fnatic have yet to publicly comment on the matter.
