Wings Gaming are unable to secure visas in time for the Dota Pit Season 5 LAN Finals and will be replaced by Elements Pro Gaming, the tournament organizer announced Wednesday.

In a tweet, Dota Pit said that the substitution would have to be made due to the inability of Wings to travel to the event, which is slated to take place at the Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia from Jan. 20-22.

Wings Gaming had a successful 2016 campaign that saw them win The International 2016 as well as ESL One Manila 2016, The Summit 5, the Nanyang Championships Cruise Cup #1 and the Northern Arena BEAT Invitational.

Elements Pro Gaming fell short of qualifying for the event's LAN finals, forcing a five-game series from OG in the finals of the first EU qualifier for the event but ultimately falling 3-2.

The full list of teams competing is now as follows:

  • Elements Pro Gaming (invited)
  • Digital Chaos (invited)
  • OG (EU Qualifier #1)
  • Team Secret (EU Qualifier #2)
  • (CIS Qualifier)
  • Team Faceless (SEA Qualifier)
  • Invictus Gaming (Chinese Qualifier)
  • Evil Geniuses (American Qualifier)
