Invictus Gaming have won Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 following a surprising victory over tournament favorites OG, who they swept 3-0 in the Grand Finals.

iG entered the playoffs in the upper bracket after topping Group B in the group stage, but lost to OG in the upper bracket finals in a close 2-1 series. But those would be the last games that iG would lose, as they shut out Chinese powerhouse Newbee in the lower bracket finals to face OG one more time to win their rematch and the tournament.

This is the first LAN win for iG since National Electronic Arena in July, and their first premier tournament win since ESL One Frankfurt 2014 in June 2014.
