mousesports have signed the five players that used to make up Ad Finem's Dota 2 roster, marking the first time the organization has fielded a Dota 2 roster since 2015.
"Dota is one of the most exciting games in esports with a huge and very dedicated fanbase, amazing events, and the biggest prize pools," mouz CEO Cengiz Tüylü said in a statement. "We couldn't wait to get back into the Dota community and I believe we found the perfect group to take this step. Our roster is bursting with team spirit and passion for the game and their first week has exceeded all our expectations. They will make it easy for our fans to welcome them and we will do everything on our part to integrate them as quickly as possible. We are all looking forward to seeing the guys in action in Kiev."
As Ad Finem, the team garnered mainstream attention following a surprising performance at The Boston Major, where they advanced to the Grand Finals before losing to OG 3-1. As a result of their performance at Boston, the team received one of the eight invites to The Kiev Major, though the roster left the organization soon after.
Set to make their debut at the Kiev Major, mousesports' new Dota 2 roster is as follows:
- Omar "Madara" Dabachach
- Dimitris "ThuG' Plivouris
- Kharis "SkyLark" Zafiriou
- Verros "Maybe Next Time" Apostolos
- Giorgos "SsaSpartan" Giannakopoulos
