Wings Gaming's TI6-winning roster have allegedly left their organization to play as Team Random at the Kiev Major, according to a report by joinDOTA's Annabelle Fischer.

The report cites a post on Wings' Weibo page, which allegedly states that the players will be playing as Team Random at the upcoming major, but does not give any clear reason why the split occurred.

Wings took first place at The Summit 5, TI6, and the Northern Arena BEAT Invitational last year, but have struggled to maintain their momentum since.

The team finished 9th-16th at The Boston Major, 3rd-4th at ESL One Genting, and 9th-12th at DAC 2017. The team was given a direct invite to the Kiev Major, and will reportedly retain their spot in the tournament despite the renaming.

Wings Gaming has yet to make an official English statement.
