Immortals hire new Dota 2 Manager

Immortals have hired Josh Arkin as the manager of their Dota 2 roster. The organization picked up the former MVP Phoenix roster last month. Arkin, a former executive assistant in the film industry, will be “helping the team with their everyday logistics and providing countless quality of life buffs.”

First Dota 2 Major of 2018 revealed

Invites for the Dota 2 Galaxy Battles Major were revealed today. The 16-team event will be the first Major of 2018 and take place in Manila, the Philippines. It will feature a $1 million prize pool as well as 1,500 qualifying points for the Top 4 finishers. The four teams to receive direct invites are OG, TNC Pro Team, Newbee and InFamous.

Blizzard unveils new Arena

Blizzard Entertainment gave fans their first look at Blizzard Arena LA today. In a series of official photos, Blizzard showed off the venue that will host Overwatch Contenders this weekend. The event gets underway Saturday at noon ET and resumes again at the same time on Sunday.

Star Wars: Battlefront II Beta begins

The Star Wars: Battlefront II Beta opened today to all players, so you can check out the newest title in the series for free this weekend. The beta includes a single map for the Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Strike and Arcade game modes.
