TL beat Secret to make lower bracket semifinals at TI8

Team Liquid have defeated Team Secret in a 2-0 sweep in The International 2018's lower bracket quarter finals, earning a shot at Evil Geniuses.

Liquid, last year's champions, were a favourite to win this year, and were knocked into the lower bracket by PSG.LGD in the upper bracket semifinals.

Their next match will be later today, against EG, with the winner moving on to the lower bracket finals against the lower of PSG.LGD and OG.

Dr DisRespect to host Code Red PUBG tournament series

Popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds streamer Guy "Dr DisRespect" Beahm will host a 20-team PUBG tournament for pro players and "high-profile influencers", DisRespect announced Friday.

The tournament series, called Code Red, will run weekly, though no start time has been announced. It is unclear if players can qualify for Code Red, though the inclusion of influencers makes it likely that there will be at least a few invitational spots in the tournament.
