Team Secret has announced that Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg is stepping back from his active role in their roster so he can focus on school.

Zai's departure comes alongside the recent news that Artour "Arteezy" Babev would be leaving Team Secret to replace Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling on Evil Geniuses.

"Ludwig will be spending his time moving back into focusing on his studies as he looks to finish school in Sweden before resuming his competitive career in Dota 2," the organization announced in a Facebook post. "Ludwig will remain with the team in a different capacity which we will announce at a later date."

The post also contained Arteezy's official statement on leaving Team Secret and joining Evil Geniuses.

“I want to start off by saying thank you to all my fans at Team Secret, it has been a crazy year of Dota and although we unfortunately fell short at The International we were able to multiple victories across the world," he said. "Working with Puppey over this year has been a great experience, one I will value for the remainder of my career and I hope that s4 finds the team mates he is looking for that will channel his inner beast mode pushing him to his full potential.”

At the end of the post, Team Secret stated that they have more plans to announce later in the month.
