compLexity are dropping Michael "mjw" Nguyen and Peter "wayto" Nguyen, as announced by team manager Kyle "Beef" Bautista on Twitter.

Both wayto and mjw were added to the coL lineup after the post TI5 loss of both Fly and Moonmeander. Their performance has since not matched up to the level they reached during TI and it seems that they are hoping to find new players using the same strategy they used late last year through early this year — tryouts.

wayto has been seen standing in for Monkey Freedom Fighters in the past week, though that team's roster has been unstable since they announced that they were disbanding. They have since decided to stay together using standins due to their inclusion in several ongoing tournaments.

compLexity's roster is down to three while they search for the ideal players. As Kyle Bautista tells theScore eSports:

While we're sad to announce the departure of two of our Dota players, our resolve to continue improving has not weakened. Mike and Peter are very talented and fantastic teammates. We wish them the best in their next endeavors. For coL.Dota, we'll be looking for the two perfect players to complete our roster. Players that have the talent and intelligence, as well as the patience and flexibility necessary to live with their teammates and grow together to become the best team in the world.

compLexity's current lineup is:

  • Luis "Zyzz" Perez
  • Kyle "swindlemelonzz" Freedman
  • Zakari "Zfreek" Freedman
