LGD's Xue "September" Zhichuan will not be able to attend The International 6 after his U.S. visa application was declined, according to a weibo post from LGD. The team are attempting to get a visa for their coach, Wang "Banana" Jiao, so he can sub in for September at the tournament.

The team came in third at the Nanyang Championships Season 2 after gaining Fnatic's invite to the tournament because one of the European team's players had passport issues. They also came in fourth at the Manila Major 2016.

Far from the only team to encounter visa issues en route to TI6, TNC and Execration both had their business visa applications rejected. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services advised them to file P-1 athletic visas instead.

The International 6 is set to begin on Aug. 3 in Seattle. The fan-contributed prize pool has reached more than $18.3 million and is set to surpass last year's $18.4 million prize pool soon.
