Natus Vincere has dropped their Heroes of the Storm roster, the organization announced Thursday.

The announcement cited the team's recent performance as a factor in the organization's decision. After a dominant performance last year at the EU regional in Prague, Natus Vincere was eliminated at BlizzCon by Team Dignitas.

Since then, the team has seen some victories, but did not qualify for the Spring Global Championship. At the recent EU Summer Regional #1 in Leicester, UK, the team failed to make it out of the group stage.

Fran "GranPkt" Nunez, the team's support, confirmed in an interview with theScore esports that the current plan is to practice for Tours and find a new organization.

"We will probably stick together, most of us at least," he told theScore.

Warrior player Alex "AlexTheProG" Grumstrup took to Twitter to confirm that he planned to remain a part of the Heroes competitive scene.

In the release, team manager Andrey "Kimi" Kvasnevskiy thanked the team for their time with Na`Vi.

"One day comes the moment when you need to say 'Goodbye' to some people, teams, etc. This is the moment. I'd like to wish good luck to the guys in their future undertakings in eSports or outside."

At the time they were dropped, the roster featured the following players:

  • Alex "AlexTheProG" Grumstrup
  • Aleksandar "ethernal" Milanov
  • Fran "GranPkt" Núñez
  • Ivan "Sportbilly" Koturic
  • Matic "Zarmony" Mikec
