Team Naventic and Denial eSports have triumphed at the first qualifier for the second NA Fall Regional at PAX West, securing their chance to fight for the opportunity to represent NA at BlizzCon.

Naventic played with Jason "Jason" Mei due to the recent departure of Fan "Fan" Yang, whose contract was bought out by Gale Force eSports. But that roster change didn't seem to affect Naventic very much as they rolled through Senix eSports, Pax Prime Tickets Plz and Dumpster Tier Failures without dropping a game.

Denial recently made changes of their own, as they dropped Kyle "Prismaticism" Belaiche and reunited with Kun "iDream" Fang, who played with both John Paul "KingCaffeine" Lopez and Keiwan "k1pro" Itakura on the BlizzCon-winning Cloud9 roster.

Denial faced RFS Gaming, Astral Authority and Vox Nihili to earn their spot at PAX, dropping only a single game to Astral. Taking that game is a good sign for Astral Authority, who recently brought back Jon "Equinox" Peterson to replace Richard "Kladeous" Tran.

Both Murloc Geniuses and Gale Force eSports were granted invites to the second NA Fall Regional for reaching the grand finals of the first regional. This is a notable departure from Europe, where both of the region's summer champions, Team Dignitas and mYinsanity, were granted invites to both fall regionals despite mYi failing to reach the grand finals at the first EU Fall Regional.

The second qualifier is set to run this Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST, with the third taking place on Sunday at 1 p.m.
