2016 S.M. Super Celeb League features K-pop stars Heechul and Baekhyun alongside lineup of LCK, LPL stars

S.M. Entertainment, a K-pop record company, is sponsoring and running a League of Legends tournament featuring two of its big stars, Heechul of Super Junior and Baekhyun from EXO, according to a press release on S.M. Entertainment's website.

During most of the event, The K-pop stars will captain two opposing teams filled out with fans. The tournament also features show matches with the two Korean superstars playing with Choi "DanDy" In-kyu, Lee "Easyhoon" Ji-hoon and Jang "MaRin" Gyeong-Hwan.

The Korean stack have already played in a "practice round", in which they faced a squad of both retired and active LPL stars made up of Xiao "GodLike" Wang, Teng-Yang "Ruo" Tian-Xia, Wei "We1less" Zhen, Gao "WeiXiao" Xue-Cheng and Feng "FZZF" Zhuo-Jun. The matches were streamed on DOUYU TV.

The main event will run on weekly broadcasts from Nov. 11 through Dec. 23 on DOUYU TV.
