Misfits midlaner Marcin "Selfie" Wolski has declared his free agency on Twitter. However, Misfits have confirmed that he is still contracted to the team. According to Riot Games' contract database, he is still signed to the team until May 31, 2017.

Selfie joined Misfits in May after serving as a substitute for Echo Fox in the spring split, save for a six game loan to H2K, filling in for Ryu "Ryu" Sang-ook who was struggling with visa issues.

After re-branding to Misfits from Renegades: Banditos after Renegades was banned from the LCS, the team signed Selfie to the revamped roster and tore through the EU Challenger Series summer split. They took first place in the regular season with a 4-1-0 record, went undefeated in the playoffs, and qualified for the 2017 EU LCS spring season after defeating FC Schalke 04 in the promotion tournament.

In the summer regular season, Selfie garnered a 6.2 KDA over 10 games and had 64.1 percent kill participation.
