Team Liquid have confirmed earlier reports that jungler Kim "Reignover" Yeu-jin will start on their 2017 League of Legends roster.
"Reignover is a natural leader with immense talent and we're excited to watch how our team develops heading into next season," the team's announcement video says. "With the help of our support staff, our team this season will be better equipped to rule the Rift."
Reignover comes to Team Liquid after successful runs on both Immortals and Fnatic. While with Immortals, he helped the team take first place in the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split and second in the summer, and while with Fnatic, he helped the team finish the 2015 EU LCS Summer with a perfect 18-0 record.
In September, Immortals League of Legends players were given the option to field offers from other teams while still under contract. Reignover was then placed with Counter Logic Gaming as a coach for Jake "Xmithie" Puchero ahead of Worlds.
Reignover joins Samson "Lourlo" Jackson, Greyson "Goldenglue" Gilmer and Matthew "Matt" Elento on Liquid's 2017 roster. The organization has yet to announce their AD carry, but reports have surfaced that the team is unbenching Chae "Piglet" Gwang-jin for the upcoming split.
