Tenth NA LCS team FlyQuest has confirmed that former Team Liquid player and analyist Galen "Moon" Holgate will be the team's jungler in a press release.

ESPN's Jacob Wolf previously reported that Moon had signed with the team on Jan. 5. The rest of the roster are the same Cloud9 Challenger roster which qualified for the 2017 NA LCS spring season in August. Former Counter Logic Gaming player Michael "bigfatlp" Tang and former Renegades support Maria "Remilia" Creveling are also listed as substitutes on lolesports.com

Following the qualification, the league slot and four of five player contracts were then bought by Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wesley Edens and the Fortress Gaming Investment Group for a reported $2.5 million. Riot Games then subtly confirmed that the new team would be called FlyQuest in a post on Jan. 6.

According to the press release, the LCS team is just FlyQuest's first step into esports with the organization planning to extend into other disciplines soon.

“We are very excited to enter such a rapidly growing and immensely popular sport. FlyQuest intends to compete and win at the highest levels of eSports and quickly become an internationally respected organization,” Edens said in a statement.

“Starting with our very talented League of Legends roster, we’re beginning the process of building sustainable success. We look forward to growing our brand globally as we help expand the reach of eSports.”

FlyQuest's LoL team will make its grand debut on Jan. 20 according to the press release. The full roster is as follows:

  • Top Lane: An "Balls" Van Le
  • Jungle: Galen "Moon" Holgate
  • Mid Lane: Hai "Hai" Du Lam
  • AD Carry: Johnny "Altec" Ru
  • Support: Daerek "LemonNation" Hart
  • Sub: Michael "bigfatlp" Tang
  • Sub: Maria "Remilia" Creveling
  • Coach: Thomas “Thinkcard” Slotkin
