One of the most interesting parts of the series between Unicorns of Love and Splyce was the competitive debut of the reworked Warwick, which Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir pulled out in Game 1 and Game 3. In the post-game interview, he gushed about the champion.
"In solo queue, it worked fine, and then I tried it in scrims and it was still fine and I actually think it's a good counter to Kha'Zix... for me at least, he will be a high priority," he said.
"Rengar for example, there is no jungler that can compete with that, so I would say Rengar is tier one, and then tier two is Kha'Zix, Warwick and Ivern." Putting his words into action, Xerxe played Warwick and Ivern across the three games in the 2-1 series win over Splyce.
Samuel "Samux" Fernandez also talked about the bottom lanes of the EU LCS, and considered the UOL bot lane incredibly strong due to their ability to stay even or come out ahead in losing lane matchups. He also appreciates the ability to play Caitlyn with Ivern, thanks to his bushes allowing for more Caitlyn damage,
Tamás "Vizicsacsi" Kiss was the player of the series, with a 9/10/26 KDA and 78 percent kill participation across three games as Shen.
