ROCCAT came so close to the EU LCS Spring Split playoffs after starting 0-7, with the team just barely missing out on a post-season run. And if you ask Head Coach Fabian "Grabbz" Lohmann, they didn't deserve it.

The Nexus Podcast had Grabbz join them after the final week of EU LCS to discuss ROCCAT's rise and turnaround this season. It started with the very clown-y series between ROCCAT and Origen and ended with a near miss at the playoffs thanks to Fnatic's 2-1 victory over Misfits in the final game of the season.

Grabbz discussed how ROCCAT got to that point, what happened during the slump, and how they started their season with optimism compared to the 2016 Summer Split. The Nexus crew then asked about the tryouts and what ROCCAT looked for in forming their new team.

Grabbz also gave his predictions on the one that got away, giving his thoughts on the coming EU LCS playoffs. Finally, podcast debutante Josh Bury made a bet that may or may not involve pink hair.
