Greyson "Goldenglue" Gilmer is back on Team Liquid's starting roster, the organization announced Tuesday.

Goldenglue will be Liquid's starting midlaner for the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split and the team will be moving Chae "Piglet" Gwang-jin back to AD carry, according to a separate tweet from the organization.

Goldenglue was benched partway through the spring split after Liquid slid to the bottom of the LCS standings. The organization shuffled their roster, moving ADC Piglet to mid and signing Team SoloMid's Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng to play AD carry in an effort to stave off relegation. While TL still finished the season in 8th, they survived relegation and kept their spot in the LCS.

After being benched, Goldenglue went to South Korea to bootcamp, and returned at the end of April. Now, he'll take back his spot on Liquid's starting roster.

"Part of me does think that this split will be my last chance," Goldenglue said in the announcement video. "If I fail here I won't have confidence in myself, no one else will have confidence in me. I can't guarantee we'll be first place, we'll be second place, we'll the best team, we'll be a completely reverse team from last split, but I can guarantee that I'll give you my best effort and I'll work as hard as I can to make this team the best it can possibly be."
