Immortals reportedly close to buying Infinite Esports and Entertainment
According to a report from Esports Insider's Adam Fitch, Immortals Gaming Club, the parent company behind Immortals, MIBR and the Los Angeles Valiant is reportedly close to purchasing Infinite Esports & Entertainment.
Infinite Esports and Enterintament is home to OpTic Gaming, professional Overwatch team Huston Outlaws as well as OpTic Gaming's LCS spot.
If Immortals were to purchase Infinite Esports & Entertainment, they "would not be allowed to retain the Outlaws due to league-wide multi-ownership rules," according to a May 3 report from ESPN's Jacob Wolf.
Infinite Esports & Entertainment went up for sale in January of this year, originally asking $150 million for all of their business, according to the same ESPN report.
