The Unicorns of Love came out on top of Elements 14-6 in a game that lasted less than 29 minutes on Friday.

Though not the most impressive match of the day, especially given that the early game saw Elements with a lead in objectives, the match definitely showed finesse and power from the Unicorns, who followed through and closed the game at the first available opportunity.

The ban phase heavily targeted mid and support picks, taking away Morgana, LeBlanc, Cassiopeia, Thresh and Alistar. Elements (on the blue side) first-picked Sivir, then added Rumble, Rek'Sai, Victor and Nautilus. Unicorns replied with a tanky lineup of Maokai, Gragas, Kog'Maw, Urgot and Annie.

The teams advanced through the laning phase without acquiring any early advantages. The dragon was left untouched, the turrets stood erect and no blood was in sight. Botheteams played a standard early game until the turn of the nine minute mark when the Unicorns shed First Blood.

The first tower of the game was destroyed by Elements at the 15 minute mark, when both teams went down to the river to grab the reborn dragon. They headbutted in an aggressive fight that traded two for two.

The Unicorns managed to stick around long enough to slay their first dragon, then take down the bottom turret as Elements went after top turrets. The tower trade ended in favor of Elements, who got two while the Unicorns got one.

With 20 minutes on the clock, Elements punched into the mid lane to take a(n equalizing) kill and the turret. The Unicorns were not intimidated, however, immediately answering with a kill in the jungle, then meeting their enemy in the mid lane to trade two for one and grab a mid turret of their own.

With the kill score at 6-4 for the Unicorns and the dragon going live, the teams once again met in front of the pit. The enemy's Sivir ultimate blown at the wrong time, Unicorns came out on top with another two for one.

The fight didn't end there, with PowerOfEvil chasing the runaways to grab another kill. More kills in the top lane left the score at 11-5, and with 26 minutes on the clock, the Unicorns shattered the top blue inhibitor to put their team ahead in every way.

While the Unicorns came storming down the midlane, Elements had to back off against a frightening group including an aggressive Gragas. Quickly getting three kills in the enemy base itself, the Unicorns rushed in to close out the game in almost 29 minutes.
