Gravity and Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) came into their Saturday game tied in the standings, but it was Gravity that won out, taking the game in a landslide, sub-thirty minute game.
The game started slowly, as First Blood went to Xmithie for killing Altec at eight minutes. With Altec down, CLG was open to take the first dragon, but gold was still tied up.
CLG's real opening didn't come until Aphromoo bullied Gravity back away from a top lane turret, but Gravity answered quickly. Move, Hauntzer and Bunny FuFuu pinned ZionSpartan beneath a turret and took both him and the first turret.
Just as the second dragon spawned, Keane took out Pobelter, which let Gravity go in for their first dragon completely unchallenged. CLG bit back by taking their second turret, but neither team asserted map control.
Headed into the mid-game, gold, dragons and turrets were tied. Both teams searched for the foothold that would give them the advantage. Gravity found what they needed in a team fight that dropped every member of CLG and secured them the third dragon of the game.
Another team fight went Gravity's way when they hunted down Doublelift and Aphromoo in the top lane. Gravity chased CLG away before they challenged the Baron. CLG attempted to deny, but it cost ZionSpartan his life and gave Gravity the opening to rush CLG's base.
Gravity dove deep. They killed Xmithie, Pobelter, Doublelift and Aphromoo before they took the turrets, the inhibitors, the nexus, and the game in less than 30 minutes.
