Andy "Reginald" Dinh is stepping in for Choi "Locodoco" Yoon-sub as Team SoloMid's head coach in an attempt to take a more active role in the team.

"Right now Loco is having a difficult time keeping the conversations productive," Reginald wrote in a Twitlonger post. "Multiple players have expressed that they're not confident with giving Loco complete authority.

"Starting Monday I will be stepping in as head coach and I'll be leading discussions within the team in a productive manner. (I won't be on stage.)"

Reginald also confirmed that Locodo will be working to improve his coaching abilities and is confident that he will be able to rectify certain issues in a separate Twitlonger post.

"Even though Loco has made some mistakes with coaching TSM, he's actively trying to fix his issues and become a better coach," Reginald said. "Everyone on the team is working towards one goal, improving. I believe Loco will learn from this experience and he'll be a better coach for it in the future."

In addition to the team's coaching situation, Reginald also discussed the team's communications issues, adding that they need to be more vocal amongst themselves to improve.

The best team environment is one where all players participate in discussions and bring up concerns. But currently, the only person on our team that does that is Bjergsen. Because he's so vocal, the community is mistaking it for him fighting against Loco and him having an ego. Also due to the fact that the other players are quiet, it makes it look even worse when Bjerg and Loco are having a heated discussion. The other team members need to step in and give their opinions of the situation so it's not just two people with different opinions going head to head. But they're not doing that.

Team SoloMid are currently sitting at a 9-5 record this split. Their next match will take place Saturday July 18 against Team Impulse at 4 p.m. EST.
