Team Dragon Knights' champion select gamble paid off big-time as they took down Gravity to close out the season with back-to-back wins.
Team Dragon Knight's patient early game turned out to be worth it when Emperor cashed in his Adoration stacks for a First Blood payday of almost a thousand gold with a kill onto Hauntzer. Continuing to snowball hard, Emperor found his second kill of the game onto Altec and took the top lane tower, putting TDK ahead by 3k gold before 10 minutes.
Despite their disadvantage, Gravity decided to take a fight near the dragon pit. Although Altec managed to steal away the dragon with a Boomerang Blade, the very extended fight ended with TDK coming out on top four-for-two overall, with all four kills going to Ninja.
Things went from bad to worse for Gravity when a failed initiation attempt was turned around by TDK for a free three kills plus the Baron immediately after. Starting a 1-3-1 split push with their fresh new buff, TDK pushed down a handful of Gravity's Tier 2 towers to grow their lead to nearly 10k.
A catch onto Emperor gave Gravity the confidence to push the mid lane Tier 1, but a flank by the members of TDK allowed them to win the fight even in a 4v5 situation.
Gravity showed some signs of life with a few kills here and there, but it was a drop in the bucket when faced with TDK's almost overwhelming gold lead. Even when starting off fights 3v5, TDK easily cleaned house when their main carries finally arrived.
There was almost nothing Gravity could do to stop TDK, and all it took was one decisive push for the game to be over.
TDK win back-to-back games for the first time all split while Gravity is knocked out of first place for the first time since Week 6.
