Top Laner Lee "Flame" Hojong will be starting for LGD Gaming in their upcoming match against KT Rolster on Saturday. theScore eSports reached out to LGD, and they confirmed that Flame will be starting against KT Rolster and may start for the rest of their Group Stage matches as well.
LGD provided the following statement regarding their decision to play Flame over Acorn:
"The team has had good results with Flame during scrims and would like to give him a chance."
In the first three matches of the tournament, LGD Gaming's primary top laner, Choi "Acorn" Cheonju, played three games with a 1.7 KDA ratio against KT Rolster, Origen, and Team SoloMid. The team lost all three games. Acorn and the rest of LGD faced criticism for his play last week, and starting Flame could be an effort to rejuvenate the team and change their style.
