Team Impulse's brand and League of Legends Championship Series spot has been put on sale, the organization announced through Gamespot's Travis Gafford on Thursday.

The article unveiled that the organization's COO Alex Gu was contemplating the sale for quite some time but only made the decision to do so in the past week.

Now the decision has been finalized however, the organization is apparently intent on trying to find a new owner quickly to ensure that the new owner will have ample time to setup a roster and establish resources for the coming 2016 LCS season.

Team Impulse initially began as LMQ, a Chinese team that made the move to the North American region near the end of 2013. Under the LMQ banner, the team participated in the 2014 World Championships but failed to make it out of the group stages with a 2-4 record. LMQ then re-branded to Team Impulse at the end of 2014.

Team Impulse made a huge impact in NA LCS, finishing fourth during the Spring and Summer splits this year. Their success however, did not translate into a World Championship appearance, as they lost out to Cloud9 in the Regional Final gauntlet.
