Enemy top laner Cuong "Flaresz" Ta has announced his free agency status in a Tweet on Friday.

Flaresz initially joined Enemy in Dec. 2014, and alongside the team qualified for the 2015 NA LCS Summer split via auto-promotion from the Challenger Series. Although Enemy's run through the Challenger Series was dominant, they struggled in their rookie LCS season, finishing ninth with a record of 4-14. The were ultimately relegated from the LCS after being swept by Team Coast in their promotion match.

Much like his team, Flaresz's time in the LCS was less than ideal, finishing the split with 1.31 KDA and a league high 90 deaths.

With recent changes to Team SoloMid, Team Liquid and now Enemy, the North American roster shuffle is in full swing ahead of IEM San Jose and the 2016 LCS season.

Although Flaresz is a talented player who at one time held Rank 1 on the North American solo queue ladder, his lackluster performance during the summer split leaves his LCS future in question. But with openings on both LCS teams and Challenger teams alike, there is certainly no shortage of options.
