Mike "Wickd" Petersen has confirmed to theScore eSports that he has left Denial eSports EU and become a free agent. His departure was first attributed to sources close to the player in a report from Daily Dot's Jacob Wolf.

Denial eSports EU failed to qualify for the 2016 EU LCS Spring Season when they were defeated 2-1 by Dignitas EU, now know as Follow eSports. They also failed to qualify for the 2016 EU LCS Spring Promotion when Gamers2 swept them 2-0.

According to the report, sources told the Daily Dot that, regarding Denial eSports EU, "the team might disband." It's currently unknown where Petersen will be heading.
