Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov will not be returning to Unicorns of Love for the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split the organization announced Sunday.

Diamondprox was taken out of UoL's starting lineup due to visa issues in January, after just two weeks of games with the team.

At the time, UoL stated they were working with the German embassy, but were unsure how long it would take to secure documents for the jungler. Diamondprox did not play for the rest of the season.

"We truly treasure every moment we can spend with our Unicorns — in Diamond's case, we have learned so much from his experience and his dedication," the organization stated in a Facebook post. "Danil has been an incredible friend, a positive mind, an extremely skilled player and a loyal colleague."

In the interim, Diamondprox has been playing with Gambit Gaming's CIS League of Legends team.

According to UoL's post, Diamondprox is looking to move to North America, and has his visa lined up for that region.
