Gambit.CIS Jungler Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov has left Gambit after accepting an offer from a foreign organization, Gambit announced on its website Monday.

"We fully understand and respect Danil's decision and would like to thank him for his huge contribution to the team and its development," the organization said in their press release.

"During the three months that we spent together, our players learned a lot about the game and how to work together as a team. In addition to that, Diamondprox is also helping us to find a replacement for himself."

The team says that they are currently looking for a new jungler, with Diamonprox's help. The organization has a few candidates in mind, and one of them will be approved in "approximately one week from now," so the team can prepare for the LCL Summer Split.

"Of course, we are very sad to see Diamond leave, but on the other hand, we are really glad for him," former teammate Alexi "LeX" Chitac said.

"Diamond turned out to be not only world-class player, but also a very cool and fun guy, and I enjoyed playing and communicating with him a lot. Good luck to him in his new team!"

Diamondprox began the split playing for the Unicorns of Love in the EU LCS, but was forced to return to Russia amid visa issues after the second week of the split.
